Helmuth Klotz (doctor)
Helmuth Klotz (born March 1, 1929 in Roding ; † July 22, 2005 in Darmstadt ) was a German general practitioner and medical professional .
Life
Born as the son of a general practitioner and obstetrician, Helmuth Klotz studied medicine in Regensburg and Munich from 1948 to 1954 after graduating from high school in Cham. At the Medical Faculty of the Ludwig Maximilians University in Munich, Klotz passed the medical state examination in 1954 and obtained his doctorate in the same year. med .; Further training in internal medicine, gynecology and obstetrics as well as surgery at various hospitals from 1954 to 1958. In 1958 he established himself as a general practitioner in Darmstadt in 1958; later he was a general practitioner.
In 1972 he was elected regional chairman of the professional association of general practitioners (BPA). From 1978 to 1987 he was national chairman of this association. From 1986 to 1992 Klotz was President of the State Medical Association of Hesse , and from 1978 to 1995 Vice President of the German Medical Association .
