Helmuth Räästas (born January 7 . Jul / 20th January  1901 greg. In Tallinn , Governorate of Estonia ; † missing since 1945) was an Estonian footballer .

Career

Helmuth Räästas played in his football career from 1926 to 1929 for JK Tallinna Kalev and from 1930 to 1938 for JS Estonia Tallinn in the Estonian Championship . With JS Estonia he won the championship title four times in the 1930s.

In 1926 he ran for the first time in an international match for the Estonian national team . In the game against Sweden he scored the honorary goal in the 1: 7 defeat and was one of three debutants alongside Artur Maurer and Arnold Matiisen .

For the Estonian National Räästas played by the year 1937 and took in the years 1928 , 1929 , 1931 and 1933 at the Baltic Cup in part. When he participated in 1929 and 1931, he won the title with his team. Between 1926 and 1937 Räästas completed a total of 21 international matches in which he scored three goals.
