The shrubbery-green fly ( Hemithea aestivaria ) is a butterfly ( moth ) from the family of the flyers (Geometridae).

features

The moths reach a wingspan of 25 to 30 millimeters. They have gray-green forewings on which two light, thin, slightly wavy bands roughly divide the wings. The edge of the wing is fringed alternately in light gray and black. The rear, light-colored band is continued on the hind wings, which have the same gray-green color.

distribution

The animals are found in southern and central Europe in deciduous forests , bush-rich areas and hedges, but also in gardens and parks.
