The Henderson-rock spar ( Petrophytum hendersonii ) is a plant from the genus Petrophytum in the family of Rosaceae (Rosaceae).
features
The Henderson rock spar is an evergreen dwarf shrub that reaches heights of 3 to 12 centimeters. The green leaves are usually 10 to 20, rarely up to 25 millimeters long, mostly 2 to 6 millimeters wide and traffic-lanceolate to spatulate-inverted-shaped. The underside of the leaf is three-veined. The peduncle is 1 to 5, rarely up to 6 inches long, the inflorescence 2 to 3, rarely up to 5 centimeters. The calyx lobes are elongated, bent back and blunt. There are 35 to 40 stamens.
The flowering period extends from June to August.
Occurrence
The Henderson rock spar occurs in the northwestern United States in rock corridors.
