The Henderson Glacier is a glacier in the Enterprise Hills in West Antarctica . The approximately 13 kilometer long glacier flows northeast from Schoeck Peak and Hoinkes Peak , where it joins the Union Glacier east of Mount Rossman .

The glacier was mapped by the United States Geological Survey as part of the Enterprise Hills survey in 1961-66 through field surveys and aerial photographs by the United States Navy . It was named by the Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names after Felix E. Henderson, a meteorologist who worked on the Eights Station in 1965 as a participant in the United States Antarctic Research Program .

In the winter of 2007 the Fuchs Foundation organized a research expedition to the area on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Commonwealth Trans Antarctic Expedition from 1956 to 1958. Among other things, the distribution and properties of cryoconite holes and the lichens occurring here on the Henderson Glacier were examined.
