Hendrik Höfken

Hendrik Höfken (* 5. March 1977 in Wesel , Niederrhein) is a German professional dancers Latin and dance coach, ADTV - dance teacher and D-4F instructor and adjudicators A in the areas of standard and Latin .

In 1997 Höfken graduated from high school in Dorsten and then did his military service . He is a trained businessman for real estate and housing management, but only practiced the profession for one year after completing his training. Since 2002 he has devoted himself entirely to dancing, on the one hand to his own dance career, on the other hand to his parents' dance school , which he has been leading with his brother Michael Höfken ever since.

Hendrik Höfken has been dancing Latin since he was 12 years old. At the age of 14 he gained his first formation experience as a dancer in the B-Team of the TTH Dorsten . He became NRW regional champion of the juniors Latin in the D, C and B classes, vice national champion of the juniors in the A class and took part in the German junior championship. Höfken has been dancing Latin in the S class since 1997.

In 2004 Höfken switched to the professionals and has danced with Luise Dons ever since. He was the trainer of the A-team at TSC Ems-Casino Blau-Gold Greven and also works as a trainer for his home club, the TTH Dorsten .

In 2006 and 2007 Höfken took part in the RTL dance show Let's Dance . In the first season he danced with Heide Simonis , who had to stop for health reasons. In the second season , Jasmin Wagner was his partner. He was eliminated with her in the semifinals.
