Hendrik Otto

Hendrik Otto (born August 12, 1974 in Wolfen ) is a German chef .

Career

After completing his training in Freudenstadt, Hendrik Otto went to Michael Hoffmann 's gourmet restaurant Haerlin in the Hotel Vier Jahreszeiten in Hamburg. He then moved to Albert Kellner in Brenner's Park Hotel in Baden-Baden and then went to Harald Wohlfahrt's three-star restaurant Schwarzwaldstube in the Hotel Traube Tonbach in Baiersbronn . He moved to the Hamburg Landhaus Flottbek as head chef .

In 2002 he went to the La Vision restaurant at the Hotel im Wasserturm in Cologne and was awarded a Michelin star after a few months , which he kept for the next six years. In 2008 he moved to the Vitrum restaurant of the Hotel The Ritz-Carlton Berlin, where he was also awarded a Michelin star and 16 Gault Millau points .

In April 2010, Hendrik Otto took over the Lorenz Adlon Dining room in the Hotel Adlon . The restaurant was awarded one Michelin star in 2011, two stars in 2012 and 18 points in Gault Millau 2014.

Otto is married and has a daughter.
