Hendrik Schwarzer

Hendrik Schwarzer (* 1987 in Freiburg im Breisgau ) is a German composer .

In 2004, at the age of 17, Schwarzer composed the multi-movement symphonic orchestral work "Expressions of Pictures", which was supported by the "Junge Kammerphilharmonie Freiburg" a. a. was performed in the Freiburg Concert Hall . Further concerts followed as part of a Friedensreich Hundertwasser exhibition in Munich and Zurich .

In 2005 the composition “Winds in Space” for symphonic wind orchestra and the piano suite op. 4 were published. The latter was Schwarzer's first work to be published on CD.

In 2008 , after several years of work, Schwarzer completed the composition “Europe in Concert”, an orchestral journey through Europe's history and cultures.

At the beginning of 2011 , Schwarzer recorded a soundtrack composed and arranged by him for Europa-Park with the Belarus Philharmonic Orchestra in Minsk . The work, a complex, multi-layered orchestral score, is intended to give Germany's largest amusement park its own musical identity. It was released on CD in July of the same year and has since been used by Europa-Park in advertising and information films and as background music in the park.

In the following years, Schwarzer continued his collaboration with Europa-Park and composed the two 45-minute musicals "Spook Me!" (Premiere in September 2014) and "Rulantica - The Musical" (premiere in April 2018).
