Hendrikje Klein (born December 14, 1979 in Berlin ) is an elected member of the Berlin House of Representatives ( Die Linke ).

Hendrikje Klein grew up in Berlin and, after graduating from high school in 1999, studied administrative sciences at the University of Applied Sciences for Administration and Justice from 1999 to 2002 . In 2002/2003 she worked for Gesine Lötzsch, member of the Bundestag . From 2008 until the mandate-related leave of absence in 2016, Klein worked for the state administration (Ministry of Finance) of the state of Brandenburg .

Klein was a member of the Lichtenberg District Assembly from 2001 to 2016 . She was directly elected to the House of Representatives in the election for the Berlin House of Representatives in 2016 in the Lichtenberg 5 constituency. There she is the deputy chairwoman of her parliamentary group as well as spokesperson for citizen participation and engagement. Klein is a member of the main committee , the committee for civic engagement and participation as well as in the subcommittees Personnel and Administration as well as Product Budget and Personnel Management , Asset Management and chairwoman of the subcommittee for districts .
