course

The Hengstbaechel rises in the Northern Vosges at an altitude of about 235  m on a small meadow west of Dauendorf . It first flows west through farmland, then runs along the northern edge of the Bois de Rigeldorf and then crosses under the D 419 . There he is fed by a small ditch on his left. Accompanied by the D 110 , he makes an arc to the north and now reaches the outskirts of Pfaffenhoffen , which he partially crossed with a twist. It finally flows into the Moder at a height of about 169  m near the Neumuehle .
