Henk Molleman

Henricus Albertus Antonius (Henk) Molleman (born July 20, 1935 in Amsterdam , † January 15, 2005 in Alphen ) was a Dutch politician . He is considered the architect of today's Dutch minority policy.

Molleman studied philosophy and sociology at the universities of Nijmegen and Amsterdam . He then became a research assistant at the University of Nijmegen.

From 1976 to 1979 Molleman was a member of the Partij van de Arbeid (PvdA) in the Dutch parliament . From 1979 to 1990 he headed the department for the integration of minorities in the Dutch Ministry of the Interior.

He died on January 15, 2005.
