Henner Hannig

Henner Hannig (born February 13, 1944 - † August 2, 2017 ) was a German architect , monument conservator and university professor .

Life

Henner Hannig studied architecture at the Technical University of Hanover . In 1979 Hannig took over the management of the lower monument protection authority in the district of Hanover .

From 1994 until his retirement in 2009, Hannig worked as a professor at the University of Wismar .

Hannig died "suddenly and unexpectedly" in 2017 and was buried on August 18 of that year in the closest family circle in the Deister forest .
