Henning Claus Christoffer Heuck

Henning Claus Christoffer Heuck (born October 3, 1798 in Ochsenwärder , † July 14, 1864 in Hamburg ) was a Hamburg mechanic and bell founder .

Life

Heuck learned the craft of the bell founder and became master of the red and bell founder on March 1, 1829. In the Hamburg address book from 1860 he is listed as a metal worker.

During the fire in Hamburg in 1842, Heuck took part in the extinguishing work on St. Catherine's Church , which was saved from destruction. Later he took over the honorary management of the fire fighting stations of the church, which was transferred to him under the command of the syringe masters.

Heuck was a member of the Hamburg parliament from 1859 to 1860 . At the beginning of 1860 he was released because of illness on his own request.
