Henri Curiel
Henri Curiel (born September 13, 1914 in Cairo , Khedivat Egypt , † May 4, 1978 in Paris ) was an Egyptian communist .
Curiel was expelled from Egypt in 1950, his son Alain Gresh was born there in 1948 and grew up with his mother. Curiel supported the Algerian liberation movement Front de Liberation Nationale and other movements from third world countries in France .
His murder in Paris has remained unsolved. He was a cousin of the British spy George Blake .
