Henri von Schumacher

Henri von Schumacher (* 1931 ) is a Swiss educator , psychologist and writer .

Life

He was the son of Heinrich Walter von Schumacher. He was a secondary school teacher , worked as a director's assistant building a pipeline in the Sahara and had a photo shop in Algeria . In Switzerland he was editor of the youth service worksheet Pedagogy and Methods and teacher for autogenic training . For a long time he dealt with parapsychology . He made research trips through India to clarify so-called paranormal events. He also gave lectures on Africa. Schumacher was general secretary of the "International Association for Psychology" in Wolfenschiessen .

In 2010 he had the listed “Millerhaus” in Turtmann converted into a cultural meeting place. Schumacher is a member of the Social Democratic Party of Switzerland (SP).
