Henricus van de Wetering (born November 26, 1850 in Hoogland , † November 18, 1929 in Driebergen ), originally Hendrik van de Wetering , was a Dutch cleric and Roman Catholic Archbishop of Utrecht .

Life

Van de Wetering was named Titular Archbishop of Gaza on February 8, 1895 . He was ordained Archbishop of Utrecht on March 24, 1895 in Hilversum in the Church of St. Vitus by Caspar Josephus Bottemanne , Bishop of Haarlem . Five months later, after the death of the former Archbishop Petrus Matthias Snickers , he succeeded him in that same office. He held it until his death in 1929.
