Henriette Lotaller
Henriette Lotaller (* 1954 ) is a Hungarian table tennis player who became European champion in doubles in 1972 and 1974.
Career
Henriette Lotaller achieved her first international success at the European Youth Championships, where she won doubles together with Eszther Juhos in 1970 and made it to the semi-finals in 1971.
With the adults she formed a successful double with her partner Judit Magos . She won several titles at the Hungarian National Championships : 1973, 1974 and 1976 in singles and 1971, 1972, 1974 and 1975 in doubles. With the women's team from Statisztika Budapest , she was Hungarian team champion nine times in a row from 1968 to 1976 and won the European Cup in 1971 and 1972 .
The doubles with Judit Magos won the title at the European Championships in 1972 and 1974 , with the Hungarian national team she was European champion in 1972 and second in 1974. Lotaller was nominated twice for world championships , where she came fourth in team competition in 1973 and 1975 . In 1975 she took third place at the European ranking tournament TOP-12 .
She took part in the International German Championships several times. Here she reached the final in doubles in 1973/74, which was lost to Maria Alexandru / Miho Hamada (Romania / Japan). In the mixed with Gábor Gergely she was fourth in 1971/72.
In the ITTF world rankings , Lotaller was ranked 23rd in mid-1975. In 1976, she ended her active career because of a vertebral injury.
