Henriette Mendelsohn

Henriette Mendelsohn , also Henri Mendelsohn (born March 31, 1856 , † after 1914), was a German painter and art historian .

Life

In 1898 she lived at Victoriastraße 28 in Berlin and had her studio at Kurfürstenstraße 118.

She wrote the first monograph on the brothers Dosso Dossi and Battista Dossi , which meets today's demands for art history , in which she checked all attributions and divided the works into iconographic groups. She wrote numerous articles for the magazine Die Kunst für Alle , some under the abbreviation H. M.
