Henriette von Meerheimb

Henriette von Meerheimb , maiden and author name of Margarethe Henriette Marie Countess von Bünau, b. von Meerheimb (born July 28, 1859 in Schmagerow, today part of Ramin ; † January 30, 1920 in Weimar ) was a German writer.

Henriette von Meerheimb came from the Mecklenburg noble family von Meerheimb and was the third of four daughters of Ferdinand von Meerheimb and Brunhilde, nee. von Ramin from the Schmagerow house.

She was married to Max Freiherr Treusch von Buttlar-Brandenfels from 1881, from whom she soon divorced. On March 17, 1890, she married Major Rudolf Graf von Bünau (* 1852) in Berlin , who later became a commander in Bückeburg .

She mainly wrote historical novels, but also short stories and short stories. In 1914 she published her father's letters as letters from a Prussian officer from 1848.
