Henrik Eriksson (born February 7, 1988 in Jönköping ) is a Swedish ice hockey player who has been under contract with HC La Chaux-de-Fonds in the National League B since June 2016 .

Career

Eriksson began his career in the 2004/05 season at HV71 , where he first went through various youth teams and in the 2006/07 season for the first time completed some appearances for the professional team in the Elitserien . In the following two years he played in parallel for both the U20 and for the first team and was responsible for a few games on loan at Tingsryds AIF , Bofors IK and Borås HC active in several Swedish leagues. In April 2009, the attacker moved to VIK Västerås HK in the second-class Allsvenskan before he was back on the ice at Borås HC between 2010 and 2012. For the 2012/13 season Eriksson moved within the league to IF Troja-Ljungby , where he spent a total of two seasons.

In the summer of 2014, the right-shooter decided to move to Denmark and played for the Herning Blue Fox in the Metal Ligaen for a year, where he was the top scorer in the league with 42 goals. Eriksson has been playing for the Krefeld Penguins in the German Ice Hockey League since the 2015/16 season .
