Henrik Sjogren

Henrik Samuel Conrad Sjögren ( [ˈʃøˌgɾɛn] , also [ˈxøˌgɾɛn] ; born July 23, 1899 in Köping ( Mälaren ); † September 17, 1986 in Lund ) was a Swedish ophthalmologist . He is known for the Sjogren's syndrome named after him , which he first described in his dissertation in 1933.
