Henryk Kroll

Henryk Kroll (also Heinrich Kroll ) (born January 20, 1949 in Gogolin ) is a Polish politician of German descent. Kroll is considered an important spokesman for the German minority in Poland .

Live and act

Henryk Kroll is the son of Johann (1918–2000) and Maria Kroll (née Bias). In 1976 he completed his studies in veterinary medicine at the Academy of Agriculture (Akademia Rolnicza) in Wroclaw and then worked as a veterinarian. From 1991 to 2007 he was continuously a member of the Polish Sejm . He was last elected to the Polish parliament on September 25, 2005 in the constituency of 21 Opole with 7,852 votes on the list of the German minority. In the parliamentary elections in Poland in 2007 , he lost his previous mandate. As a result, in 2008 he no longer ran for the chairmanship of the Social-Cultural Society of Germans in Opole Silesia , which Norbert Rasch took over.

Since February 12, 2005, Kroll has been chairman of the Association of German Social-Cultural Societies in Poland (VdG) . On May 14, 2009, the association's board of directors elected Bernard Gaida as the new chairman and successor to Kroll.
