Henutsen (Henut sen) Ḥnw.ts = n |
Henutsen is the name of an ancient Egyptian queen who was the second wife of King ( Pharaoh ) Cheops in the 4th Dynasty during the Old Kingdom . She was the mother of Chephren , Chaefchufu (if this is not identical with Chephren) and Minchaef . Henutsen is mentioned by name on the so-called inventory stele from the 26th dynasty , but referred to there as the “daughter of the king” ( Sat-nesut ). Her grave is possibly the third of the three secondary pyramids (pyramid G1-c ) of the pyramid necropolis of Cheops in Giza .
