Heralding - The Fireblade is the fourth studio album by the German-Icelandic Viking Metal band Falkenbach and was released on November 25, 2005 via Napalm Records . There was also a limited digipak version with a different cover and the bonus title Gjallar (08:10). An LP was also released (via No Colors Records ), limited to 1000 copies, of which the first 300 copies were released as clear vinyl, the rest as black vinyl. They also contain the bonus title Gjallar .

On the album Heralding - The Fireblade Vratyas worked again with the same studio musicians as on the previous album Ok nefna tysvar ty .

The album was originally intended as a debut album , but was postponed due to studio technical problems. The album contains more tracks than were intended for the original album and has a slightly different name ( Fireblade ).
