biography

Elkuch comes from Schellenberg . He is a mechanic by profession and runs the Elkuch Mechanik company in Eschen, which he founded in 1992 . In February 2013 he was elected to the Landtag of the Principality of Liechtenstein for Die Independend (DU). As a Member of Parliament, he is a member of the Finance Commission. Elkuch attracted special attention at home and abroad after his election to the state parliament through his preference for wearing women's clothes.

After Erich Hasler was expelled from The Independent in August 2018 after differences of opinion, Elkuch and Thomas Rehak also left the party as a result. The independents thus shrank to two mandates in the state parliament and thus lost their parliamentary group status. Since the beginning of September 2018, the three MPs Hasler, Rehak and Elkuch have formed their own parliamentary group in the state parliament ( new parliamentary group ), whose parliamentary group spokesman was Elkuch. Furthermore, the three founded the Democrats for Liechtenstein Party (DPL) on September 21, 2018 . Elkuch was elected as a member of the party executive committee at the founding meeting.

Elkuch has three children and has been widowed since 2001.
