Herbert Ermert

Herbert Ermert (born December 17, 1936 ) is a German conductor and pianist .

Act

After passing the conductor examination and the state music teacher examination, Ermert was conductor of the Philharmonic Choir Siegen from 1969 to 2000 , from 1972 to 1986 director of the Rheinpfälzisches Instrumentalensemble in Mainz , from 1976 to 1990 conductor of the choir and orchestra of the Bonn Bach Community , from 1986 to 2000 conductor of the Choir community Zanders in Bergisch Gladbach and from 1991 to 1995 director of the municipal music school in Siegen.

His musical work is characterized by a longstanding collaboration as a conductor with the Südwestfälische Philharmonie and the Collegium Musicum Siegen.

The result is numerous concerts, radio and television recordings and record productions.

Ermert was guest conductor of numerous symphony and choral concerts, a. a. with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, London; at the Orchester des Concerts Lamoureux, Paris; at the Orchester de Radio-Telé, Luxembourg; at the Philharmonia Hungarica; with the Stuttgart Philharmonic; with the Munich Symphony Orchestra; with the South West German Chamber Orchestra; with the Palatinate Chamber Orchestra; with the Bochum Symphony Orchestra; with the Westphalian Symphony Orchestra; with the Folkwang Chamber Orchestra Essen; with the Liège Symphony Orchestra; at the Polish Chamber Philharmonic in Gdansk; at the Rheinische Philharmonie Koblenz; with the Tel Aviv Philharmonic Choir and the Hasting Chamber Choir.

Ermert had performed with his choirs and orchestras a. a. in London , Paris , Berlin , Cologne and Bonn . He has made guest appearances at international festivals in Germany (Beethovenfest Bonn), France , Belgium , Italy , Denmark , Switzerland , Lithuania and many other places, some of which have been recorded by radio and television.
