The Küchler theme is presented here.

Solution:

White has a battery , that is, in the position by a train of Te5 is a deduction chess possible. However, an immediate deduction at Kxg5 fails and White cannot checkmate on the second move. This battery is released with the pull of the key. To put it simply, this is the Küchler theme .

1 ... Txg5 second Te4 matt (Lf5 is tied )
1. ... 2. Lxe5 Txg4 matt
1 ... Kxe5 second Lb8 matt
