Herbert Kalb
Herbert Kalb (born July 25, 1957 in Feldkirch , Vorarlberg ) is an Austrian legal scholar and professor of legal history / (state) church law at the Johannes Kepler University (JKU) Linz . He is head of the Institute for Canon Law, European Legal History and Religious Law.
Life
Herbert Kalb studied history , German literature and law at the University of Innsbruck , where he worked as a university assistant at the Institute for Canon Law and Legal Philosophy of the Faculty of Law. In 1990 he qualified as a professor and was appointed to the law faculty of the JKU.
He heads the Institute for Canon Law , European Legal History and Religious Law and the Department for Political Science , Legal Ethics and Legal Philosophy at the Institute for Constitutional Law and Political Science.
