Herbert Koch (theologian)

Herbert Koch (* 1942 ) is a German Protestant theologian and non-fiction author.

Life

After studying in Bethel , Heidelberg and Göttingen doctorate cook at Eduard Lohse Dr. theol. He took over positions as parish priest and was prison chaplain for eight years and later head of the industrial pastoral office and unemployment center in Hanover . Most recently, Koch was elected superintendent of the Wolfsburg church district.

Koch has stood out since 1988 with several essayistic non-fiction books on human rights and the Christian church, past and present.
