Herbert Krutz

Herbert Krutz (born January 20, 1903 in Reckendorf , Neustadt district in West Prussia ; † February 5, 1986 in Krombach , Siegen-Wittgenstein district ) was a German politician ( SPD ).

Herbert Krutz attended elementary school and did an apprenticeship as a machine and building fitter . He joined the German Metal Workers' Association (DMV) in 1923 and moved to Berlin in 1925 . He worked at Borsig in Berlin-Tegel until his retirement . In 1927 he joined the SPD.

After the Second World War , Krutz continued to work at Borsig and was elected to the district council assembly in the Reinickendorf district in the Berlin election in 1948 . From 1959 to 1969 he was a member of the supervisory board of Borsig AG. In the 1963 election he was elected to the Berlin House of Representatives until he left parliament in 1971 for reasons of age.
