Herbert Laschet Toussaint (* 1957 in Eupen ), as the author HEL , is a German poet and publisher in Berlin .

Journalism

Laschet Toussaint has been publishing gray literature since 1977 , the first publications appeared in Ulcus Molle (Ed. Josef Wintjes ). He appeared as a publicist of contemporary poetry, as a co-author of Pop Shamanism (together with Thomas Nöske ) and was co-editor of the magazines Circular am Zeitstrand (1998-2004) and Circular (since 1977). In 1984 he was a co-founder of the Düsseldorf RHEIN RUHR SCHAU (newspaper for culture in the coal pot supported by Joseph Beuys ), section manager for Die Brücke an der Spree (since 1989, in the magazine Die Brücke ) and Berlin direct debits (1999-2004, in the Berlin magazine Libus ) . From 2008 to 2015 he was editor of the literary magazine floppy myriapoda .

Life

Laschet Toussaint made his debut in 1977 in the side wing of the Elisenbrunnen (Aachen) and worked on the magazine Fenster / Schreibheft as part of the Aachen literature initiative (LINA) . He gave cabaret and song evenings (contributions to East Belgian pirate radio stations) and appeared in Hilka Nordhausen's Hamburg book Handlung Welt (group 60/90). In 1994 Toussaint was on the committee of the 2nd SocialBeat Festival and organized the reading stage SchwarzlesereY in Berlin from 1994 to 2000 . In 1995 he organized the summit meeting of the sonnet + mass grave in the ACUD art gallery (cf. Klaus M. Rarisch ). In 2001 he co-organized the Berlin gallery reading series LyrikLounge together with Tom de Toys. He is related to the CDU politician Armin Laschet .

Awards

  • In 1991 he received the Labor Prize (Klagenfurt)
  • 4th NAHBELL Prize Winner 2003 (alternative Nobel Poetry Prize of the G & GN Institute for the lifelong incorruptibility of a complete work process).
