Herbert Lindinger

Herbert Lindinger (born December 3, 1933 in Wels ) is an Austrian graphic artist , industrial designer , exhibition designer and university professor who worked in Linz , Ulm and Hanover, among others .

Herbert Lindinger, born in Upper Austria in 1933, studied visual communication and product design in Ulm at the university there after the war .

In Ulm, Lindinger worked as a lecturer from 1962 to 1968, before he was appointed professor in the Lower Saxony state capital Hanover at the university there in 1971 and since then has been director of the Institute for Industrial Design.

For example, Lindinger artistically designed subways, buses, street furniture and squares in various cities in Germany. He also worked internationally as an exhibition designer.

Herbert Lindinger was elected President of the Association of German Industrial Designers (VDID).
