Herbert Pribyl

Herbert Pribyl (* 1961 in Vienna ) is an Austrian social scientist and theologian .

Life

After graduating from high school in 1980, he studied Catholic theology and independent religious education, philosophy and law at the University of Vienna from 1980 to 1989 and at the Pontifical Gregorian University in Rome in 1983/84 . In 1985 he was awarded a master's degree in specialist theology at the University of Vienna . Ibid he became 1989 doctor of theology doctorate, 2000 spondiert for Master of independent religious education and a doctorate in philosophy in 2003 his doctorate . Since 1987 he has been working in the library of the Vienna Chamber of Commerce. As a lecturer in philosophy and anthropology, he worked from 1993 to 1994 at the Religious Education Academy of the Archdiocese of Vienna . In 1997 he was awarded the Cardinal Innitzer Prize for Social and Economic Sciences . At the University of Vienna he taught as a lecturer at the Institute for Political Science of the Faculty of Basic and Integrative Science (1993–2002) and at the Institute for Ethics and Social Sciences of Catholic Theol. Faculty (1995–1996). Since October 2000 he has been teaching Christian social theory and social ethics at the Heiligenkreuz University as a professor .
