Herbert Rosenfeld
Herbert Alexander Rosenfeld (born July 2, 1910 in Nuremberg ; died November 29, 1986 in London ) was a German-British psychiatrist and psychoanalyst of the Kleinian direction and a pioneer in the psychoanalytic treatment of psychoses .
Life
Herbert Rosenfeld had been interested in psychology and the human sciences since his early youth . Although his father wanted to see him as his successor in the family business, he decided to study medicine , which he completed at various German universities and completed in Munich in 1934 with a dissertation on multiple absences in childhood. Due to the Nuremberg Laws , he was not allowed to treat Aryan patients . Therefore he emigrated to England in 1935 .
