Herbert Schweers (born December 26, 1947 ) is a former German soccer goalkeeper .

Career

Schweers played with TSV 1860 Munich in the Bundesliga . He was in the 1968/69 season next to Anton Gigl, the substitute for goalkeeper Petar Radenković . On matchday 9 he stood between the posts in a Bundesliga pairing for the first time, in the game against Hannover 96 he conceded three goals, the game ended 3-2 for the 96ers. He made his second appearance on matchday 29 against Hamburger SV , conceding three goals again. This time, however, a draw was achieved by three own goals. After the season he left the lions and joined the ESV Ingolstadt for the next three years. There he came to 99 missions. Then he played one more season for 1. FC Nürnberg , in the regional league, he played 13 games.
