Herbert Strotebeck
Herbert Strotebeck (born December 9, 1951 in Penzlin ) is a retired German business graduate (FH) and politician of the Alternative for Germany (AfD). In the state election in North Rhine-Westphalia in 2017 , he was elected to fifth place in the state parliament of North Rhine-Westphalia .
education and profession
Herbert Strotebeck first trained as an insurance salesman and then studied marketing and sales economics at the Cologne University of Applied Sciences . He graduated with a diploma.
He then worked for over 30 years as a manager in the sales department of large insurance groups as well as on a voluntary basis for over 25 years on the board of the vocational training center for the insurance industry (BWV) in Essen and auditor for the Düsseldorf Chamber of Industry and Commerce for the professional profile of an insurance specialist.
politics
Herbert Strotebeck has been a member of the AfD since 2013. He has been spokesman for the AfD district association in Düsseldorf since 2016 and for the AfD district association in Mettmann since 2015 . In the state elections in North Rhine-Westphalia in 2017 , he ran for fifth place on the state list and was thus elected to the state parliament. In the NRW state parliament, Strotebeck is a full member of the budget and finance committee and the committee for economy, energy and regional planning. He is an alternate member of the Committee on Family, Children and Youth.
Private
Herbert Strotebeck has been married for 38 years and has two adult children. He has lived in Erkrath with his family for 20 years .
