Hermann A. Griesser

Hermann A. Griesser (born August 23, 1937 in Landeck , Tyrol ) is an Austrian journalist .

Life

Hermann A. Griesser studied German, philosophy, history and law in Innsbruck, Vienna and Munich. In 1964 he received his doctorate as Dr. phil. In 1973 he became editor for domestic politics at Rheinischer Merkur , in 1978 managing editor at Welt in Bonn and from 1980 managing editor at Münchner Merkur . From 1986 to 2002 he was editor-in-chief of the Deister and Weser newspaper in Hameln .

Today Griesser lives in Vienna and works as a freelance writer. His current work is Der Morgenwanderer - Die late Passion of Stellan Stefan Oppenberg . The novel tells the story of a strange friendship in which the torn attitude towards life of the post-war generation flares up - with a great longing for healing.
