Hermann Adolf Stock , from 1869 von Stock , (born December 30, 1809 in Tuttlingen , † November 10, 1871 in Heilbronn ) was a German Protestant theologian.

During his studies he became a member of the Germania Tübingen fraternity in 1827 and of the Concordia Tübingen fraternity in 1829 . and After studying Protestant theology in Tübingen , Hermann Adolf Stock began his professional career in 1832 as vicar in Deizisau and in 1833 as vicariate administrator in Bad Boll . From 1833 to 1835 he was court master in Stuttgart and from 1835 to 1837 repetition. From 1837 to 1851 he worked as a pastor in Jagsthausen . From 1851 to 1862 he was dean and pastor in Crailsheim and from 1862 to 1867 in Nürtingen . In 1867 he went to Heilbronn as prelate and general superintendent . He held this office until his death in 1871.

The general superintendents of the Protestant regional church were privileged members of the second chamber of the Württemberg state parliament by virtue of their office . After his appointment in Heilbronn, Hermann Adolf Stock entered the state parliament in 1867 and held the office until his death.
