from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Hermann Aichele (born May 9, 1881 in Stuttgart , † November 18, 1940 in Stuttgart) was a German administrative officer. He was theoretician and practitioner of the "fight against the gypsy insanity".

His Tübingen dissertation, The Gypsy Question , published in 1911, with special consideration of Württemberg, agrees in essential basic theses with the later publications of Robert Ritter . Aichele anticipated key messages from Ritter, who did not mention him either in the quotation or in the bibliography. Aichele was a participant in the Munich " Gypsy Conference " in 1911.

From 1913 to 1918 he was the first deputy head of the municipal police department in Stuttgart with the title of Police Council. From 1923 to 1926 Aichele was the head of the office in Stuttgart , later Ministerialrat and president of the Württembergische Landeskreditanstalt in Stuttgart.
