Hermann Borchers

Hermann Borchers (born October 15, 1903 in Bremen , † January 3, 1973 in Bremen) was a Bremen farmer and politician ( BDV , SRP , DP , CDU ). He was a member of the Bremen citizenship .

Borchers worked as an independent farmer in Bremen- Huchting . He was the spokesman for the Huchtinger farmers, dike captain in the area links the Weser and from 1947 to 1971 president of the Bremen Chamber of Agriculture .

politics

Borchers was a member of the liberal BDV for a short time in 1946, then he joined the neo-Nazi Socialist Reich Party (SRP) around 1949 . In 1952, after the SRP was banned, he switched to the DP (GDP since 1961). In 1962 he became a member of the CDU .

In 1946, for the BDV, then again from 1951 to 1952 for the SRP and from 1955 to 1971 for the DP and CDU, he was a member of the Bremen citizenship for around 17 years and worked in various deputations and committees of the citizenship. From 1951 to 1952 he was deputy parliamentary group leader of the SRP in the citizenry. He represented the interests of agriculture in the citizenry.

Borchers was from 1953 to 1962 chairman of the shooting club Huchting and the surrounding area .
