Hermann Clementz
Hermann Clementz (born November 27, 1852 in Berlin ; † April 13, 1930 ibid) was a German genre and portrait painter. He studied at the Royal Prussian Academy of the Arts in Berlin from 1873 to 1876 and was a student of Anton von Werner from 1880 to 1883 .
Thanks to an art award received in 1883, he visited Italy and North Africa, after which he returned to Berlin. Clementz has shown his works since 1877 at many art exhibitions, u. a. the exhibitions of the Berlin Academy, the Great Berlin Art Exhibitions and the Glaspalast in Munich . His pictures also appeared in the " Gartenlaube ".
