Hermann Deichfuß

Hermann Deichfuß (born March 19, 1962 in Frankenthal ) is a German lawyer . He has been a judge at the Federal Court of Justice since 2013 .

Life

After completing his legal training, Deichfuß joined the judicial service of the state of Baden-Württemberg in 1993 . During his trial reporting period, he was employed at the regional court and the Mannheim public prosecutor's office . In 1996 he was appointed judge at the Mannheim Regional Court. The focus of his judicial work was already at the regional court on commercial legal protection, patent and copyright law, as well as cartel law. During his three-year secondment to the Federal Court of Justice from 1998 to 2001, he was also assigned to the Cartel Senate as a research assistant. After being promoted to judge at the Karlsruhe Higher Regional Court in 2002, he was a member of the civil panel responsible for commercial legal protection as well as patent and antitrust law as deputy chairman. He was also a member of the Baden-Württemberg Lawyers' Court for many years. When he started working at the Federal Court of Justice at the beginning of 2013, the Presidium assigned him to the Xth Civil Senate responsible for patent, utility model and travel contract law .
