Hermann Dietz 1905

Hermann Dietz (born March 12, 1866 in Baiersbronn , † September 4, 1939 in Berlin ) was a German journalist . From 1912 to 1930 he was director of Wolff's Telegraphic Bureau .

Life

Dietz successfully completed a degree in philosophy and theology at the Eberhard Karls University in Tübingen . From 1889 to 1893 Dietz was active in the Württemberg church service. From 1897 he was editor of the Allgemeine Zeitung in Munich . From 1899 to 1906 Dietz was editor-in-chief of the Hamburg Correspondents . After a brief interlude as editor-in-chief of the Neue Tageblatt in Stuttgart , he returned to the Allgemeine Zeitung in Munich, which he headed from 1907. In 1910 he became deputy director of Wolff's Telegraphic Bureau, which he then headed from 1912 to 1930.
