Hermann Dietz (judge)

Hermann Dietz (born November 3, 1842 in Munich ; † April 3, 1920 ) was a German lawyer and judge .

Life

The son of the Baden court painter Feodor Dietz , who worked in Munich from 1841, passed the Abitur examination at the Maximiliansgymnasium in Munich in 1861 , then studied law in Munich with Philipp Brunner and Georg Friedrich Knapp and became active in the Corps Franconia Munich in 1862 . Although he was born in Munich, he was a citizen of Baden. In 1865 he was sworn in to the sovereign of Baden. In 1872 he became a magistrate. In 1876 he was promoted to senior magistrate. 1878 was appointed district judge. The next year he was prosecutor and in 1883 first prosecutor. In 1894 he came to the Imperial Court. He was active in the 1st Criminal Senate of the Reich Court . In 1910 he retired.
