Hermann Dinkla

Hermann Dinkla (* 22. January 1943 in Hage ) is a German politician of the CDU . He was President of the 16th Lower Saxony State Parliament .

Hermann Dinkla first learned to be a carpenter in his father's business. He completed his apprenticeship as a master carpenter. He worked as a works manager before studying social studies, politics, social studies, work theory from 1974 to 1976 and economics from 1976 to 1979 at the University of Oldenburg via a second education path .

In 1972 Dinkla joined the CDU. He has been a member of the Lower Saxony state parliament since 1994 . From 2003 to 2008 he was deputy chairman of the CDU parliamentary group. Dinkla is also a member of the state board of the CDU in Lower Saxony. On February 26, 2008 he was elected President of the 16th Lower Saxony State Parliament. He has announced that he will not run again in the 2013 state election. With the end of his time as a member of the state parliament, Dinkla also resigned from his office as president of the state parliament.

Dinkla lives in Westerholt in East Frisia . He is married and has three children.
