Hermann Fischer (religious priest)

Hermann Fischer (born September 13, 1867 in Bedingrade , † October 18, 1945 in Haan ) was a religious priest , Divine Word missionary and writer.

Life

In 1886 he joined Steyler missionaries. He studied philosophy and theology in Mödling . After his ordination in 1897, he was a high school teacher for several years. From 1910 to 1922 and from 1934 to 1941 he was editor of the monthly magazine Stadt Gottes , from 1920 to 1932 member of the General Council of Steyler Missionaries and from 1929 to 1941 editor of the Catholic Yearbook .
