Hermann Gögler

Hermann Gögler (born March 10, 1887 in Ravensburg , † June 17, 1964 in Ellwangen (Jagst) ) was a German administrative lawyer.

Career

After graduating from the grammar school in Ravensburg in 1906 , Gögler studied law at the universities in Leipzig , Munich and Tübingen and between 1914 and 1920 - interrupted by participating in the First World War - practiced as a lawyer in Heilbronn .

In 1921 he joined the Württemberg Ministry of Economics, where he was initially a reporter for social policy, and from 1932 for economics and transport. From 1937 on he was head of the agricultural trade association in Württemberg.

After the end of the war, Gögler was appointed Ministerial Director in the State Ministry of the State of Württemberg-Baden in September 1945 . In June 1946 he was appointed State Secretary and the Württemberg-Baden Special Representative in the State Council of the US zone . As the successor to Heinrich Köhler , he represented Württemberg-Baden on the Executive Council of the Economic Council of the Bizone from August 1947 . In mid-September 1949, Prime Minister Reinhold Maier appointed him permanent representative of the government of Württemberg-Baden to the federal government. In 1952 he retired.

Gögler was a co-founder of the Ellwanger Kreis and the working group “The Citizens in the State” . From 1949 he was President of the German Association of Academics .
