Hermann Gebhard (born September 13, 1878 in Eppingen ; † June 24, 1928 in Heilbronn ) was a farmer and member of the Baden state parliament.

Life

Gebhard was born in 1878 as the son of the farmer Adam Gebhard. He was married to Elise nee Doll (born June 10, 1880, † March 3, 1961). Early on, Gebhard demonstrated a special talent for speaking and stood up for the concerns of farmers, especially in the period of forced economy after the First World War. From 1920 he was state chairman of the Baden Landbund and from 1921 to 1925 he was chairman of the Baden Chamber of Agriculture , as well as a member of the Reich Evaluation Advisory Board and from 1921 to 1926 a member of the Baden state parliament . He died in 1928 as a result of an ear disease.
