Hermann Grubert

Hermann Grubert (* 1807 in Breslau ; † October 1874 in Kanth ) was a German judge and politician.

Life

Grubert studied law at the Silesian Friedrich Wilhelms University . In 1836 he became a higher regional judge, in 1844 a regional and city judge in Schneidemühl , and in 1845 a city judge in Breslau. In 1870 he retired, which he spent in Breslau and finally in Kanth.

In 1848 Grubert was a co-founder of the Democratic-Constitutional Club in Breslau. From May 31, 1848 to May 30, 1849 he was a member of the Frankfurt National Assembly ( Donnersberg , March Association ). He elected Friedrich Wilhelm IV as German Emperor.
