Hermann Henke

Hermann Friedrich Henke (born April 17, 1890 in Warburg , † May 26, 1972 in Cologne ) was a German politician and member of the state parliament ( CDU ).

Career

After attending elementary school , he completed an apprenticeship as a painter and also passed the master's examination in this profession . From 1907 he was a member of the Catholic Journeyman's Association and from 1923 to 1933 deputy chairman of the Christian Painters Association.

From 1946 to 1950 he was a member of the City Council of Cologne . From July 5, 1950 to July 12, 1958, Henke was a member of the state parliament of North Rhine-Westphalia . He was elected directly in constituency 014 Cologne-Stadt II.

Henke had been married to Maria Josephine Balluff (1890–1976) since 1919. He died in 1972 at the age of 82 in a Cologne hospital. The family burial site is in the Melaten cemetery (corridor 57).
